We had a boiler go down in a multi-unit, leaving 6 tenants with no hot water or heat in Dec. Greg was able to quickly diagnose the exact issue w and locate control boards for the specific unit. He even drove to Denver for us so we could receive the parts in 2 hours. Greg had the boiler up and running again that same day, which allowing tenants to not have to relocate saving our company $1000 per day not having to relocate any residents.

My overall experience with Front Range was both professional and pleasant. From the first call with Audrey to final install by Ivan, they took care to help me manage my situation. I was kept informed of our appointment status throughout the morning as I had a difficult schedule to accommodate. Ivan arrived on the earlier side of the scheduling window and quickly diagnosed the internal failure of my water heater which was extinguishing the flame. We discussed the installation schedule and he committed to being able to complete the entire job same day without further disruption to my obligations even though I offered a more relaxed option of next day. He was able to source, pick up and install a new unit within his time estimate while also answering my questions and walking me through some of the plumbing system design in my house. He was diligent, focused and remained on task despite being interrupted by my friendly, large Bernese mountain dog. Overall, great experience for me. Ivan was efficient, accurate in his estimate, communicated well and technically did an incredible job! Rock Star!

Tim M. immediately made us feel comfortable, he was incredibly truthful, showed us exactly what we were dealing with and why we needed a new water heater (extreme sediment buildup causing a crack at the bottom that was continually leaking into the drain pan as the water heater was about ~9 years old.) Tim never tried to upsell us. He confirmed what we needed was the same capacity and type we had and didn’t try to tell us we needed something more.
We had a blast conversing with him (hopefully without distracting him too much) and he seemed like a friend we had just invited over once the work was done.
The installation was done flawlessly, no more brown water or metallic smell, Tim showed us everything we needed to know, let us know our warranty information, how everything worked, and eased any fears I had about the water heater. I asked for a couple cards before he left so I can recommend him and the company every chance I get. Overall it was a wonderful, incredibly low stress issue once he arrived to look at it, sent us an estimate and returned the very next day to take care of us. I’m a very high stress, anxious person and the 24 hours or so we were without hot water didn’t freak me out at all, as Tim has a very calming and reassuring presence.
I will 100% recommend Front Range Water Heater and Excavation to anybody I speak to.

We had a leak in our Main service line, so we had the city shut us off and thus didn’t have any water for the last few days. After a leak detection, Front Range (Audrey) got out the next day for a quote (Quinn) and the following day had guys on site (Justin & “My Man” Greg). They were knowledgeable, professional, and were able to restore our water quickly. While they might be on the higher end of the “competitively priced” scale, I feel any extra price is worth the service I received. Front Range is likely my new preferred plumbing company.
